The initiative “Multi-domain Technological Platform for Socio-viral Content Distribution” (2009-2011) is promoted by Plan Avanza. CETaqua, ICA and Grupo AIA are participating.
This project was sponsored by the Spanish Department of Industry, Tourism and Commerce within the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2008-2011.
Development of an online platform to distribute digital contents in a segmented way, to different groups of users, with different interests.
Tests are being performed on a document manager containing approximately 1 million digital documents. The socio-viral content manager permits to match the digital behaviour of the users of the platform (more read contents, time spent in each section of the portal, etc.), and the contents best adapted to each user’s profile. This is why algorithmic techniques are used to generate a series of relationships, to infer content proposals that can be of interest for the different users.
For the design and creation of the socio-viral manager, Compartia has developed a specific taxonomy of water, sanitation and environment sectors. The taxonomy includes the different areas of knowledge of the platform, with the aim of facilitating thematic associations of content. This taxonomy permits to search by semantic proximity. The taxonomy is displayed by an interactive graphic representation of concepts, using RIA technology.
